Activities of the Conservancy District

Since its formation, the Conservancy District has successfully implemented its decreed plan at a nominal cost. The Board of Directors are working diligently to achieve these goals while holding down costs.

By the end of the year 2008, the district will have completed the 2nd of its periodic sediment trap maintenance dredging. The Water quality of the lake has been improved with a balanced lake vegetation program by Weed Patrol, Inc., to manage Eurasian Watermilfoil and other nuisance vegetation.

The program that has been implemented has been time tested and both EPA and DNR approved. After a lake treatment, there will be signs posted instructing the public on what precautions, if any, should be taken. If no signs are posted, there are no restrictions on water usage
